BIOGRAPHY

 

Andrea has been a wreck explorer and hunter for 12 years, finding over 35 ships, planes and submarines during his career.

He is the owner of TECHDIVE dive centre in Arenzano, Italy, and is also a closed-circuit rebreather instructor on 4 different CCR machines, with over 20 years’ experience operating them.

He has performed hundreds of dives over 100m deep, and many over 150m deep, including one to a depth of -192m which included 7 hours of decompression.

Andrea has dedicated his life to wreck research and the world of diving. This includes a film and a TV series that will be released soon.

He has made more than 30 appearances on national news programmes and been featured on many national TV programmes.

He won the ‘Paladino d'oro’ at the Palermo Sport Film Festival in 2021 for the documentary 'Cacciatore di relitti' (Wreck Hunters)

Andrea collaborates with the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy in Genoa and often collaborates with the diving unit of the coast guard and various harbour master's offices throughout Italy.
