BIOGRAPHY

Pierre-Eric started diving in 1990 and cave diving in 1996. He certified as a Scuba Diving Instructor in 1996 and is a TDI Full Cave Instructor, Advanced Trimix Instructor, Cave Sidemount Instructor and Advanced Blender Instructor.

Pierre-Eric currently manages a dive equipment servicing workshop and a tek dive shop in Paris.

Since 1998, he has been doing cave diving exploration, looking for unexplored galleries, mostly in France. In 2006, he participated in the Ultima Patagonia Expedition in Chile. Between 2011 and 2013, he was a member of several expeditions in South China and was also appointed to help the local government create the first technical dive center in China.

Specialized in narrow caves with severe restrictions and poor visibility, he has carried out some deep dives, mostly in difficult conditions (with restrictions, low visibility, strong flow). For many years he has used a lateral rebreather (MCCR) or backmount rebreather (ECCR).

Pierre-Eric has written a cave diving manual, ‘La Plongée Souterraine’, and has also contributed to many dive magazines such as Plongez, Plongée magazine, Octopus magazine, Spéléo magazine, X-Ray magazine, Ultra magazine, Asian Diver and more.
