Franco and Sabrina started individually many years ago as recreational scuba divers and then became technical and CCR divers, recently falling in love with free diving and snorkeling. It seems like a career backwards, but it is not, since they simply adapt their skills to the different environments and wildlife they interact with.

They truly experience the aquatic environment 360°, worldwide, wherever there is something to discover and document. It does not matter if they are in fresh or salt water, in extremely cold or very warm water.

Their love for pelagics and cetaceans is unstoppable.

Franco is a self-taught professional and award-winning photographer, specialized in wildlife and reportage imaging. He shoots with a Sony A1 and Sony A7R4 in Isotta housings.

Sabrina has a Master's in Economics and Tourism Management, and worked for around 25 years for the biggest Italian tourism company, covering different chief positions.

To fulfill their dreams, in 2012 they founded WildlifePhotoTours.ch, with which they run trips for small groups of enthusiasts focused on enjoying wildlife above and below the surface.

The basic elements that characterize Franco’s photographic projects, works and pictures are curiosity, attention to detail, movement and innovation. His images have been featured in hundreds of magazines, books and calendars, and together with Sabrina as a storyteller and journalist, they have written more than 400 articles about marine life, scuba diving and tourism, published in renowned magazines around the world including GEO, National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, Tauchen, DAN Alert, Focus and Red Bull magazine to name a few.

Franco is an award-winning photographer (World Champion in Underwater Photography in Cuba) and he regularly receives top honours in prestigious international photo competitions such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY), Nature’s Best, Environmental Photography Awards, International Photography Awards (IPA), etc. He is a member of IEPA.org (International Environment Photographers Association) and of the Wild Wonders of Europe.

Sabrina is an unstoppable reader and researcher, studying and reading hundreds of papers, peer reviews and projects within research communities. Her intuition for inter-species connections and the logic underlying certain situations is immeasurable.
