BIOGRAPHY

 

Alejandro started freediving in 2004, taking part in pool competitions in Brazil, Ecuador and Argentina and setting several national records for Argentina.

In 2005 he became a Freediving Instructor and created Freediving Patagonia, an SSI Freediving Center in Puerto Madryn, Patagonia, Argentina. He has taught over 800 students at all freediving levels and trained many athletes to reach new boundaries and conquer national records in both pool and depth disciplines.

He started deep diving in 2010, competing in important events like Vertical Blue in the Bahamas, the Caribbean Cup in Roatan, Nirvana Oceanquest in San Andres, Colombia and at the World Championship in 2017, taking 7th place in the FIM discipline.

He has set national records in all depth disciplines and over the past 5 years has been amongst the best 20 freedivers in the world according to the AIDA International Ranking.

He set the Argentinian record in 2017 at 87 metres.
