The Dive Expedition Team was founded in 2017. A team which seeks to act as a think tank for developing and testing products and services under extreme conditions as well as exchanging ideas and experiences in order to bring divers the best.

MARES has grown its knowledgebase with the acquisition of SSI and rEvo, and in founding this group of experts we hope to be able to advise our Product Managers, Designers and the R&D team regarding products and services for the future. The team will continuously come together to exchange opinions whilst using the products in real diving conditions. Not everything can be tested and checked in labs or offices, and the actual use of the products whilst diving is key to success. The team will be diving in conditions which are also more extreme than they might ever be used in when finally launched which we hope enables us to understand our product’s full potential. Whilst within our companies our employees already do a lot of diving and testing prior launching products on the market, the MARES / SSI / rEvo Dive Expedition Team will be made up of people who have not been involved in the development process, and we hope their different point of view will help to make our products even better.
