Kolmårdens Tropicarium är ett av Sveriges största tropikhus med över 2000 m2 utställningsyta, öppet alla dagar utom julafton. Den största attraktionen är hajakvariet med ca. 500 000 liter vatten, där en mängd korallfiskar och tre olika hajarter lever.

I tropicariums akvarier finns över 50 arter av levande kolonier av koralldjur, som Stenkoraller (de som bildar korallreven) och anemoner och mer än 100 arter fiskar från sverige och tropiska länder simmar i dem.
Dussintalet hajar från 5 arter samt 4 arter rockor som hajrocka och stingrockor . Jordens artrikaste grupp av ryggradsdjur är benfiskar, vilka både lever i bräckt- söt- och saltvatten. Du ser här särskilt stora exemplar av vanliga akvariefiskar men även lite ovanligare som elål, korallrevsfiskar, piraya och muränor, samt svenska fiskar som abborre, gädda och europeisk ål.
